David Mack is a non-union dance, opera and theatre producer working in LA. He is a Center for Cultural Innovation NextGen Arts Awardee. David is currently Strategic Director of Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre and Strategic Executive Officer of Artist Magnet. He has raised over $1 million for small theatre in LA as Managing Director of Watts Village Theater Company, and worked as an actor on intimate and mid-sized theater stages including City Garage Theatre and Theatricum Botanicum. As General Manager of The Industry, David produced the opera INVISIBLE CITIES in Union Station in 2013. He also produced LA Dance Project's inaugural production at the Theatre @ Ace Hotel Downtown LA in 2014. He has consulted for Ate9 Dance Company, DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion, MULTIPLEX DANCE and the Clown School. As a volunteer, David was a founding member of the Theatrical Producer's League of LA (TPL-LA) Transitional Committee and served on the Boards of TPL-LA for Large Theaters and the Dance Resource Center. He was also Chairman of LA County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas' Empowerment Congress Arts & Culture Committee, where he successfully advocated for a performing arts division within METRO.
