Ken Cosby is and writer, theater artist, and stand up comedian. Ken was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Howard University in Washington D.C., and hold a BFA and MFA both from New York University. In New Work, Ken worked in the archives at La Mama ETC, and was one for the founding member of the Absolute Theatre Company. In Los Angeles, Ken was a member of the Blacksymths Playwriting Fellowship at the Mark Taper Forum, under the direction of L. Kenneth Richardson. He's a former screenwriting professor at The University of Southern California and was an acting instructor at the International Dance Academy. Ken is currently an Artist in Residence at Towne Street Theatre and is a member of the 2016-2017 writers pool at Playground LA.
