Ramona Pilar is named after a California pop-culture legend and her tia abuela. She has acted in, written, and produced works of theater and is the lead singer of an 80s tribute band called The Walkmans: 80s Rewind. Her most recent prose has appeared in the 'Coiled Serpent' anthology from Tia Chucha Press and the LumenBlog. Ramona is a member of the literary community Women Who Submit, and is the editor of the Claps & Cheers column. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University in Los Angeles and emphatically encourages you to use your turn signal appropriately.
