Dreams in Overdrive

Jon's a maniac. His show has some of the most unbelievably crazy moments in the Fringe. It also has some of the most personal and heartfelt. And did I mention, crazy?!

Fuck Tinder: a love story

A beautifully sure-handed, hilarious and insightful journey through the human heart and it's desire to be caressed. Initially by others, but ultimately by ourselves. That kind of journey takes a fearless leader. David Rodwin is the right kind of storyteller. And this is the right kind of One-man show.

Narsociety - The Social Media Shaming Musical

One of the best shows dealing with Social Media that I've seen. An engaging book with truly great songs that traveled beyond playful parody and exposed personal themes. A solid cast in a wonderful show that I'm still thinking about!

Buffy Kills Edward: A Musical Romp

"Buffy Kills Edward" is a great time! I want the soundtrack. If you're not a Twilight or Buffy fan you'll love the rocking score and amazing cast. If you are a fan, you'll be grinning from ear to ear. Regardless, you'll appreciate the talent and creativity of Ms. Laura Wiley

This Our Now by Olivia Cordell

It starts off simply with playful banter, poetry and distanced observation. I think I'm going to get artifice from a young writer and then it starts getting deeper, more vulnerable, layered and honest beyond its years. It tricked me. The acting is solid. The inspired direction takes all those awkward black box, scene change blackouts and turns them into fully lit, fluid stages of character development. The writing is ambitious and assured. The first millennial piece I've seen that isn't just skin deep. Go see this show, if you can get in. It's the real deal. The writing, so generous and human. It snuck in through the cracks and found its way into my heart. I keep thinking about it.

Hot Dates

Hot Dates is a rock and roll musical lap dance of fun and bi-sexual sweetness with surprising sincerity and charm. Underneath her hard candy shell, Shira's heart is gigantic and all chocolate. Tough and vulnerable, she's the perfect “round the way” girl to tell this story of growth and exploration! A rockin' good time.
