Audience: Dylan Saunders
Ava Bogle is a triumph. If the world ever comes to an end, I hope this show, and Bogle's unique voice, carry the human race through it. Her characters are nuanced and smart, sexy and undeniable. Her blunt view of humanity is brave and staggeringly funny. I found myself gasping at her turns, masterfully commanding the theatre with zany hilarity one moment, while offering up biting poignance the next. Our audience reveled in her connection and her honesty. I can't wait to see more from Bogle and this creative team. There's something magical brewing here. Why did it have to end?
