My Mom Died When I Was 14 (A Comedy)

Pulling off a great one-man show is not easy. But the reason so many people take the challenge is because if you can nail it, you let the audience do something they never get to in daily life: experience someone else's psyche, with an endearing level of vulnerability. This show definitely accomplishes that. Matt Gudernatch uses intense subject matter to jump from comedic bit to comedic bit — and it works incredibly well. The show is emotional, yet legitimately hilarious. I can't recommend it enough.
