A VOID: A dark comedy about cryogenically freezing your troubles away.

As playwright and director, Kirsten Kearse, has done a great job conceiving a world where science fiction takes a backseat to modern-day struggles and desires. That world is enhanced mightily by Bill Coleman's convincing production design and Meghan Czerwinski's costume design which aptly captures the personality of each character.

For those seeking new and original plays this Fringe season, A Void is a must for your list.

This show made me extremely uncomfortable. That is a tribute to the lead actresses. The two women create a family dynamic as sisters that is incredibly honest, effective, and completely believable.

By the final part of this show, you realize just how well Judith knows Rita and that knowledge will leave you with your jaw on the floor.
