The Whitefire Theatre presents BEST OF THE FEST from SOLOFEST 2020, the largest solo theater festival on the West Coast now in its 8th year which was to bring 80 shows in 90 days celebrating solo artists from around the globe – until the corona virus pandemic made it necessary to postpone the remaining shows, as well as the BEST OF FEST shows with solo artists who were to return with their shows. BEST OF FEST 2020 is now available May 16th - July 18th via live stream from the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, California.
May 2020 BEST OF THE FEST shows include Saturday, May16th at 7:00 pm (PST) Wild Son, The Testimony of Christian Brando written and directed by Champ Clark, performed by John Mese; Saturday, May 23rd at 7:00 pm (PST) Missionary Positions: A Recovering Christian's Guide to Getting Lost written and performed by Dan Prevette, directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson; and Saturday, May 30th at 7:00 pm (PST) I Can’t Indian Good written and performed by Brandon Raman, directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson.
June 2020 BEST OF THE FEST shows include Friday, June 5th at 7:00 pm (PST) Baccalaureate written, directed and performed by Saurabh Kikani; Saturday, June 6th at 7:00 pm (PST) The Book That Won’t Close, Confessions of a Love Addict written and performed by TL Forsberg, directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson; Sunday, June 7th at 6:00 pm (PST) Island Girl: A Rescue Mission written and performed by Luka Lymon, directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson; and Friday, June 12th at 7:00 pm (PST). Ma’s Kitchen written and performed by Maeria Paez, directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson.
July 2020 BEST OF THE FEST features the Saturday, July 18th, 7:00 pm (PST) performance of Motherhood Part 2 written, directed and performed by Pam Levin.
