Adapted from the novel by Christa Wolf and set against the backdrop of the mythological story of Trojan War, Kassandra tells the timeless story of the struggle between men and women, the will of the masses and the individual and the destructive force of war, where in the end she chooses autonomy over life.

Reviews

Absolutely crystal clear and imbued with lush solemnity, actress Morgan Lariah drives this quiet, real-time and occasionally comical narrative to triumph as Kassandra faces her own death willingly with the dignity and satisfaction of choice. - Highly Recommended

Morgan really embodies the prophet, priestess and member of Troy's royal family, all while completing daily tasks in an unexpected juxtaposition. This show has a core of humanity that lets the audience know that not much has changed in how the truthteller/messenger is treated by the powers that be…making the show entirely relevant and powerful.
