After a premium run at Second City Hollywood, the celebrated musical comedy LIFE IN BOOBS will arrive at Pico Playhouse for an exclusive, 2-night only event. With Books & Lyrics by Casey Christensen (The Donkey Show), composed by celebrity vocal coach Rachael Lawrence (Grey’s Anatomy, Glee), and conceived by Jennifer Goodman, LIFE IN BOOBS highlights true trials and tribulations of women everywhere, with original songs, comedic vignettes and dramatic monologues.

LIFE IN BOOBS’ dynamic story deals with the journeys many women face from training bras, to dating, to pumping at work, and facing breast cancer. The energetic songs incorporate humorous pieces like “C-L-E-A-V-A-G-E,” “Wife Beater Tank Top,” and “Suck It, Cancer” to the inspirational “I’m Diane”. Cast members include Christensen along with Sherry Cola (Good Trouble, I Love Dick), Brooke Eyler, Naomi Murden (Walk of Shame, Super Single), Kyla Page Williams (Lincoln Center), and returning to the stage will be Adrienne Visnic (Bekah Brunstetter’s Be A Good Little Widow).

Along with its creators Christensen and Goodman, the current cast members include Sherry Cola, Brooke Eyler, Sara Montgomery, Naomi Murden, Leslie Rubino, and Kyla Page Williams, all of whom represent an assortment of body types, attitudes, age and life experience. The dynamic story they share through comedy skits and songs deals with the journeys many women face, which will tug at your heartstrings and inspire you to accept yourself exactly the way you are. And laugh at ourselves a lot!!!!

Witty, charming, and heartfelt! I don’t cry easily and I cried three times during the show, but I was also doubled over laughing at multiple points. A sensitive and heartwarming show that gets to the root of women’s experience, and the experience of anyone with boobs from all walks of life. A breath of fresh air! Well paced with memorable songs and amazingly versatile actresses. I highly recommend the show and I have a feeling I’ll be seeing it Off Broadway soon :)

Witty, snappy, seamless, and just all around hilarious and fun. The performance ended and I was like, "wait, that's it?!" You know it's a good show when it feels like no time has passed. And all the actors were phenomenal in their own ways and complemented each other and the show beautifully. I'll be seeing it again for sure before the end of the run.

Absolutely LOVE this show! It speaks to women, feminism, the #metoo movement, sisterhood and life in general. The acting is great, the content is poignant and timely yet funny and thought provoking. Jennifer Goodman was right on point with the concept and Casey Christensen is a wonderful director. And did I mention you will leave singing?!

Really fun. Surprisingly moving. The lyrics were clever; the talent was terrific, and the choreography was buckets of fun. I'd see this again in a trice. First time at Second City Hollywood! Wanna go back.

An amazing show! Every single one of the performers blew me away and the show over all is a must see. I laughed, hard and often. Tried to hold back tears but failed and left smiling. Any show that can get my cold heart to experience so many emotions is a winner. The venue is small which makes it very intimate, would recommend to make a night of it in Hollywood, dinner, wine and a show. Saw it with a friend but going to see it a second time with my hubby and some couples.
