Everyone knows Paris is the city of romance…or is it? Paris Syndrome, a new comedic play from Emmy nominee Ross Buran (Gay of Thrones), explores love lost and a war on Parisian sensibility. A year removed from his divorce, a young-ish man decides the only way he can overcome the depressive hole he's fallen into is to blame all the romance-mongers in Paris and sets off on an international journey of self-rediscovery… Well, sort of. Basically, he just wants to find the lock he and his ex-wife once hung on a Parisian bridge and cut it off.

Paris Syndrome is a damn delight. Using the acting talents of Heidi Hayward and Mark David Christenson, Writer Director and actor Ross Buran created a play that felt more like a recollection than an documentary. This presentation pulled me in and kept y full attention until the lights came up. Totally worth a see.

With clever writing, great story telling, and wonderful performances from Ross and the supporting cast, this play strikes a very satisfying balance between heartfelt and hilarious. Even if you have not lived the specifics yourself, this journey through perceived reality vs. actual reality is so relatable. Highly recommend-- a very enjoyable hour.

Delightfully funny, charming and with the right amount of cheese! An hour of giggles and laughter! Ross Buran's was witty and charming to watch, and the supporting ensemble added wonderful comedic bits. It was easy to watch and enjoy! I especially loved the cinematic musical interludes! The narrative was easy to follow along and switched between a presentation narration to heartfelt scenes always ending with a great button.
