Parenthood. It is a unique journey that can feel like roller coaster ride. Add Autism and it can feel like an entirely different amusement park. Shannon Penrod, host of Autism Live, takes us on a mad cap adventure through the often hilarious and precarious experiences of being a parent in a world with a different point of view. Directed by Therese McLaughlin.

There is a great deal of love and passion that has gone into Shannon Penrod's one woman show The Autism Mamalogues; which is understandable as she is a self-described “Autism Mom.”

I am an Autism Dad and I found this show to be so funny, heartwarming and wonderfully performed by Shannon Penrod. With the expert guidance of Director Therese McLaughlin, Ms Penrod has crafted a show that is both informative and greatly entertaining, which is no small feat! Well done!

Mind-blowing! What a talent! On so many levels. Funny, and biting, and heartbreaking... all at the same time. This play, and Shannon, wait to be discovered. Hollywood....? Ted....? Truth is, she's not waitin' for, anyone. Don't miss this.

Shannon Penrod's bitter-sweet biographical autism journey will not only make you sit up and pay attention but also invite you to find humor where you may have thought there was none! Not to be missed!

As a mom of a teenager with autism, I thoroughly enjoyed (and totally identified with) the show! It was funny and poignant, all at the same time. I left feeling great!

If you are ready to unleash all the emotions associated with this topic, this is a must see. Autism evokes anger, thrills, astonishment, amazement, and confusion. Shannon is able to portray all of these emotions in a truly brilliant and personal way. No matter how you've been touched by autism, you will be moved, motivated and inspired by this performance.
