The Bindings
Women carry it in their bones and in their blood.
The restrictions, the expectations, passed down through generations and reinforced by society, until they bind our minds.
But also within lies each woman's magic, power, and autonomy.

In celebration of International Women's Day, Theatre Witch examines what it is to be a woman. This performance art installation explores the physical constrictions and oppressions of being a woman, as well as the reclamation of feminine autonomy through witchcraft and sisterhood.

Audiences may enter and roam the theater space in this immersive-style performance art piece.

Conceived & Directed by Vanessa Cate

Featuring Angie Hoover, Natalie Hyde, Alariza Nevarez, Jonica Patella, Jess Sabine, Michaela Slezak, Mila Starfyre, Katie J. Stone & Laura Van Yck.

WARNING: This piece involves full nudity, witchcraft, and possibly explicit or triggering themes.

David MacDowell Blue - Night Tinted Glasses

For me...it was an artfully created nightmare, ending with an almost explosive release and escape. Yes, the "action" such as it is, remains slow and subtle. Insidiously and brilliantly so.
