Daniel Sugimoto, Director of “THE UPCYCLERS - An Earth Saving Musical,” said “With ‘THE UPCYCLERS - An Earth Saving Musical' you will see a ‘You're-A-Good-Man-Charlie-Brown'-type cast that will connect, engage, and entertain audiences of all ages. You won't be able to help but feel inspired and hopeful with the original soundtrack of toe-tapping numbers, which little-ones may want to sing and dance along with. The colorful upcycled eco-conscious costumes, sets, and props will challenge the way you look at “garbage” and the impact we can make everyday.

While The Zoo Theatre Co. has produced original plays and musicals geared towards teens and adults, the creators, Daniel Sugimoto and Julia Lisa have an extensive background of children's theatre for the whole family! They spent 6 years writing, performing, and teaching children's theatre around Los Angeles for companies such as Creating Arts Company, Theatricum Botanicum, Fairies and Dragons, iLead, Ace Enrichment, and more. "Fun family centered show with a message: how to save the planet. The characters are kid friendly but with a story for adults as well. All costumes and set pieces are “upcycled” from discarded materials which is a fun twist. Recommended for family show for change from usual superhero/ Disney fare."
