Director Julia Holland keeps everything high energy, smoothly blending sentiment and entertainment as well as past and present, drawing the audience in by breaking the fourth wall and getting them involved.

She draws fine performances from the cast, led by Rachel Wecht as the little bunny—charismatic, expressive and a solid singer. Kim Harrison’s headstrong, confident Freddy provides nice counterpoint to Judy Claverie’s officious, vinegary housekeeper Nana. Musical director Wayne Moore provides jaunty accompaniment as well as a pleasing, warm performance as grandpa.
