Long Beach physical theatre company Bossy Flyer brings 'dazzling acrobatics feats' to LA. Inspired by Jean Paul Sartre's masterpiece 'No Exit,' three acrobats test the limits of human connection in a confined space with no words and no exit. In this wordless adaptation, acrobatics replace language as the three discover they're in hell, and their torturers are each other. As Sartre writes, "hell is other people." THREE is a kinetic theatre experience packed with adrenaline and a slick soundtrack.

*Suitable for deaf, hard of hearing, or non-English speaking audiences.

Three is a compelling, challenging work of art.  Compelling to be 3 people stuck in hell, navigating a touchy triangulated relationship.  The group’s artistry is exquisite as they adeptly move over, around, through each other, balancing and trusting, as the connections morph and change given the emotionally charged connections.  Always a delight to see this group perform!

Three was my third journey with Bossy Flyers. I say journey because I find them truly transcendent!

I arrived with high expectations after experiencing Flight and Irreconcilable Differences at the San Diego Fringe, and those expectations were surpassed!

Three is an amazing performance that engaged me on so many levels, I’m not sure if it’s a simple story told with artful complexity or a complex story told with genius simplicity!

Bossy Flyer engaged me with their graceful acrobatics and they captured me with their powerful storytelling.

Three is definitely SWEET!

A well considered performance inspired by (not really adapted from) Jean-Paul Sartre's play "No Exit." Knowing the plot of the original does add to the experience, but there is a logic to the dance routines that makes them stand alone quite vibrantly like individual tracks. At an hour long, it's worth while and suggests a promising direction for the Bossy Flyer dance troupe.
