Review On Black When I Was A Boy

Sandra McNeill

Cooper's presented a workshop version of this show at Whitefire Solo Fest on MLK Day, and I'm so glad that he is presenting it to a broader audience at the Fringe Festival. He is a MASTERFUL storyteller — completely inhabiting the bodies and motivations of the odd characters who either persecuted or supported his child-self — or sometimes both. I highly recommend seeing this.
