Rob Bruner's ease onstage makes him seem like you've known him forever. Even though his story is very unique, he has a friendly demeanor that makes him relatable and engages you to listen to what he has to say. Rob took what could've easily been a bitter childhood story and turned it into something almost whimsical, without making it grandiose or over-the-top. He shows us the parts of his crazy past that were deeply rooted in any coming of age story (pain, love, disappointment), which makes you feel for him as the main character in his own life.
